           While we planned for our exams many problems are araise to deviate our goal, especially sleeping during reading (or) preparing for exams. To avoid such sleepyness you can follow the below advice

         How to avoid sleeping during TET Exam preparations!!!!!

         Sleeping is a very important aspect of our lives and everybody need it to re-energize them, so they can continue on with next successful day. Sleeping also improves short term memory, mood, efficiency, concentration, and it is actually believed that sleeping also helps wound healing. Enough sleeping is essential to refresh our mind and body!! At the same time, falling asleep while studying or preparing for competitive exams should be eradicated at any cost. There was a famous proverb in Tamil…

                   “AlavukuMinjinaalAmirdhamumNanju”

          Same way we should make sure that sleeping doesn’t affect our academic preparations. Uncontrolled sleeping is critical for academic achievements. We should therefore plan and manage our time wisely in order to get positive results. Here in this article, lets discuss how to overcome falling asleep, feeling sleepy while undergoing continuous preparations for exams!!

What makes us sleepy during studies:

                    Studying for exams will be very stressful. What makes it worse is, if you have to study boring and repetitive subject matter. This ends up in falling asleep easily and eventually we won’t be able to recall the subject matter once we wake up. We need some tactics to defeat fatigue because it is what fights against our mind and tries to prevent us from reading.

“Habit makes everything look bland; It is sleep-inducing
 Jumping to a different perspective is a way of waking ourself up again”
--------- Bakewell, sarah.

One should organize their day and night in a way that clearly shows which hour they ought to be awake, working, and the specific hour he/she ought to sleep as well as how many hours they must sleep respectively. Fortunately, it is possible to stay awake while studying by applying few practical easiest methods as follows..

Does sleep relates with brain:

                 Obviously there is a connection between sleep and the activities of brain. During sleep, the brain-cleaning process is being processed. This process is important because what’s getting washed away during sleep are waste proteins that are toxic to brain cells. Naturally the brain cannot perform this sort of house keeping all the time!!! It’s probably not possible for the brain to be aware of the surroundings, to talk, to move, and so on as well, respectively. So sleep is essential, same time we ought to maintain it in such a way it doesn’t intervene our preparations!!!

STEP 1: BE ONE_ONE WHILE READING:

                        Try to carry on a conversation with your book. When something new is introduced, ask what was it? What’s the concept about as a whole? What message being conveyed at the end? What are the main ideas or points to be remembered? What’s the importance of that particular lesson and how many types of different question can be asked from that? These question’s apply to every subject you read. Here reading must be a conversation between you and the book. You probably won’t fall asleep in between while having conversation. Approach the book in conversation lively, instead of trying to upload it to your mind mechanically!!!!!!!!

STEP 2: READ WITH A PENCIL:

                       Marking a book creates interaction between us and the book, same time in order to avoid sleeping during study, one or more activities is needed. We can highlight, mark a block of text, make a star or asterisk, circle the key words or phrases, write in margin or in blank space so that you can find your own thoughts, take notes in front or end of the book after a complete reading to obtain ownership of your own reading. Making notes helps you develop your own system. Applying this kind of active reading, you will never fall asleep!!!

STEP 3: TACKLE BOOKS BEYOND YOU:

                           To get rid of sleep while reading, we need encouragement. Challenging is nothing but encouraging ourselves. The more you tackle books beyond your current reading ability will keep us refreshed. To challenge ti to look at reading in a different aspect. It doesn’t mean immediately jumping in to most difficult part of the book. You had to adapt step by step process. Challenge yourself and concentrate!!!!

STEP 4: TAKE APPROPRIATE NAPS:

                     Another way of getting hold of sleep is to taking short naps. While continuous preparation for competitive exams, naps are essential. Even if it is short as 20minutes, which will help your brain refresh more. Naps can be perfectly organized by making use of alarm clock or mobile phone to help you remember when to wake up and continue with studying. A nap gives the body and the mind, time to rest, which will lead us to continue enthusiastically!!!

CONCLUSION:

                Getting enough sleep calls for appropriate time management, similarly intervening sleep ends up in total collapse of the whole process. Time management means doing the right thing at the right time, which is one or the other way related with falling asleep..
“Study while others are sleeping;
Work while others are loafing;
Prepare while others are playing;
Dream while others are wishing; “
 ---- William Arthur Ward

                   From the above quote, its crystal clear that we need to be awake while every others are sleeping. That doesn’t mean just awake, it’s to make use of the valuable time period in efficient way of studying or preparing for exams. If we follow it perfectly, we can straight away reach the last line of the quote, where u may be dreaming about your goal while others will be just keep wishing for their goals… Goals are meant to achieve as soon as possible, so dreaming about them continuously will help us to reach it quickly! Here “Dreaming” means aggressive thoughts to attain our goal and its not the dream related with sleep. Lets overcome sleep related dreams and try to attain the real dreams of our lives with high hopes!!
